Karrot Publishing is a creative development company focused on the exciting world of children’s fiction. Our premiere title Hairy Ponies & Friends, A Day at the Races, was co-written by Sandra Jones and Jamie Badminton, illustrated by Jamie Badminton. Sandra, a passionate animal lover, based the characters on real ponies and Jamie who is equally passionate about animation and children’s fiction, took the story and realized it in a unique and amusing style. A Day at the Races introduces Star, Magic, Manic, Saffron and the other characters who live at Hazel House Farm. Future books in the series will develop the characters as their lives become embroiled in exciting adventures and comedic mishap.
