Lucy lives in the two storey farmhouse with Rebel and Smiley, and this is the base from which she receives all her phone calls. The house is full of rosettes and trophies from her many years raising horses.

The ponies live in the stables, which is separated in two; one side for boys and one for girls (Manic and Star share one ‘room’ and Saffron and Pinky share the other). This creates the perfect environment for gossiping.  Magic is separated from the others in his own field for most of the year, but he does join them to escape the cold in winter. As he is not use to living with others there is always conflict.
