In the eyes of the other ponies, Magic has graduated because he has his own field. Magic didn’t choose to be singled out because of his natural strength, and if he is ever excluded from joining in with the others, he has a hard time understanding that.

His isolation means he is not a natural team player. He just doesn’t get to spend enough time around other horses to know fully how to relate to them (and in reverse, the other ponies find him quite mysterious).

He can’t really use his stallion skills on Hazel House Farm, but always gets picked to lead the ponies on special occasions. This never fails to infuriate Star!
