Pinky has always lived on the farm. She has known Star since he was born and has become quite motherly towards him. She has also become set in her ways due to rarely leaving the safety of Hazel House. Pinky’s long stay on the farm gives her the mistaken belief that she knows best.

Saffron’s arrival on the farm has made her feel young again and they build up quite a sisterly bond. Their friendship means Saffron is the pony most likely to encourage Pinky to change her old habits and try new things.
